What would you rather have the pastors say? Say that it's just peachy to look at pornography and masturbate and that you shouldn't feel bad for habitual sin? Come on! I'd be a lot more concerned about the pastors that condone these things. It's very possible that "spiritual people" do these sexually immoral things, but then again, if they are true Christians; as in saved by their repentance (of sins) and faith in Christ, they will have to stop committing sins.
Who wouldn't admit "that we enjoy stimulation through sex, masturbation, and visual pleasure"? That doesn't make it right. We can admit that, but then it is the church's job to follow the Bible and proceed to say that it is wrong. Sorry, but it is wrong. I don't know a way the church can tell someone that what they are doing is wrong and not make them feel bad. Then again, shouldn't they feel bad about what they are doing?
The goal isn't to make people feel bad, but there's no way around it. If you've done something wrong, you feel bad because of your conscience. If you don't feel bad about these sexually immoral things, it's because of the desensitization. You're so exposed to it that it doesn't seem so bad. That's how it leads to going from watching soft core to hardcore. The hardcore porn seemed really disturbing and gross, but after watching so much soft-core, that "really nasty stuff" doesn't look so nasty, does it?
Here's one of my observations that you can test yourself. Let's say I take a really hot shower. The water takes a little time to adjust, but sometimes I have to slow the rising of the temperature a little so I can get used to it. Then I continue to raise the temperature. Well, all porn is bad, right? Soft-core porn or even just looking at sexuality (even without seeing nudity) is bad. Let's say I turn down the heat a little after being exposed to piping hot water. The water suddenly feels colder. But, if my wife came in and touched the water, she'd say it's hot. I don't seem to think so, but it is. That's because she's going from no exposure (to the heat) to some exposure, even if it isn't as hot as it was before. Just an FYI that any type of sex inside of marriage is cool by God, so if she wants to take her clothes off and come in, hey that works...
Pornography is bad, and it's pretty easy to justify that it's bad by asking if you would have your mother sit right next to you while you are watching it. I've actually had somebody answer "sometimes" to that question. Come on. Actually, this works for basically any sin. If your mother asked you what you did during your year in college, would you say "Yeah, well I lied to a lot of people, I stole a few things...oh, they were small stuff...I masturbated pretty much every day twice a day, I used God's name in vain a lot, got extremely drunk a couple of occasions..." Of course not. People like to sugar coat life. I think she would rather hear from me, "Well, since I'm a Japanese major, I learned a few hundred new Kanji, earned new colloquial forms of talking, lots of new vocab words. In my free time, I go jogging, hit the gym a few times a week, surfing on occasion, church every Sunday and hang out with friends". Of course she'll ask if I'm telling her everything, and if I haven't sinned, I don't have to lie about anything. I can continue telling her about all my great, sinless experiences. That first response isn't something we tell mothers, but if we couldn't lie (remember "Liar Liar"?) that's what a lot of mothers would hear. Is that how you want to live?
One of my atheist friends talks about planning to have sex in college when he goes there (he plans, mind you...keep that in mind). I'm sure if I told his mother (awwwhhh...tattletaaaaaaaalllllllllle...) that she wouldn't be happy. If I told his mother that he's going to do be an engineer and computer science major, and he'll be hanging out with friends, stay sober and keep the grades up, that's all great stuff. Well, I'm not going to tell his mother-I do respect that these kinds of things should be between him and God. But that's just it-he doesn't believe in God, so he doesn't really think that what he's doing is wrong. He also doesn't have to be accountable for his sins, which is a real reason why many atheists don't believe. Of course, if I told him to tell his mother all about his one night stands, he wouldn't. If I told him to tell his mother all about those computer science classes, he'd love to. But he'd be deceiving her because he's not telling her about the bad stuff. Isn't sugar coating life great?
It should be obvious the life that we should be living.

I think that you are making a general statement which is not true, don't you?
The logic you are following is that you picked 5 green apples from a basket and they turned out rotten therefore all the green apples are rotten.
I think that when such things come out of "so called religious people" they tend to get judged more. It makes it 1000 times worst.
If a non religious man kills that is wrong.
If the killing comes out of a "so called" man of god, you feel soo betrayed.
In islam those people will be punished. they are hypocrytes.

I have to agree with Hot Coco Puff!! Your question here is probably going to get removed by one of these Hippocrates! Do you notice too that these very same people usually end up being the most perverted, and doing the most sick stuff!!

"However you know these same people secretly fantasize about these things..."?
And how would you know that?
Sounds to me like you assume that if you have a problem everyone else must too.
"To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good."

Many were probably taught that such things are wrong/shameful/whatever. They're probably embarassed by their arousal. The easiest way for them to deal with the conflict of emotions is to chastise others.

Because most men are aroused by these pictures, that's natural but it doesn't make it right anyway.
Porn is evil, exploiting and dangerous it leads to misery and crimes.
No one needs to look at filth.

They are not dishonest they are withdrawn. Very few spiritual people will mention their past sexual sins unless it would help someone else.
