and when you put the file in the folder, it's name must be "M4Vxxxxx.MP4" where 'x' is any number that you want.
example: M4V00001.MP4
it will still work, even though it doesn't have a .THM file(thumbnail)
so if you don't have rename the file in this format, it will not work

first, it must be in mp4 format... mpeg is not mpeg4, so it wont work.
search google for 'psp video 9' . its a free program that will convert the majority of popular video formats (mpeg, avi, wmv) to mp4.
next
forget making any files/folders whatsover. that is way too complicated for the beginner.
reformat your mem stick.
now, hook up your psp with the usb.
next, look for the file 'computer' on your pc desktop or start menu. click it
when it opens up, it will show you that you have a mem stick drive. click the mem stick
next, it will open up and give you 6 different folders, click on 'MP_ROOT'.
when mproot opens up, it will display two more folders.
click on the one with 'anv' in its name.. this is where you copy videos that youve downloaded on your pc.
the 'video' folder, is only for storing mp4s that you directly downloaded from the internet.
you dont have to rename the video, you dont have to create folders, you just have to put the mp4 in the right spot.

in order to get videos on your PSP they have to be a certain playing format, which is .MP4 you can get a convertor but the cheapest around is Sony's convertor for about $10. Another one is .3GP (which is the format your cell phone records video's on)
