well.. if you have a disorder where it is hard for you to loose weight... you at least should start eating healthy food like non fat.. i wanted to achieve my goal i am half through, i lost 5 lb i know is nothing but for us girls is everything ! and that's how i did.. i started looking at calories and especially fats and it helped also started to exercise... you are pretty tall but i think if you'll be able to fit in size 14 at the end of summer then it will be a start for you new life...

If you stick to a healthy lifestyle and don't give up, 30lbs by the end of the summer is a very noble and attainable goal. It's so great that you're really taking the initiative to do something about your weight rather than just lamenting it! I think that a girl as tall as you would look great as a size 15, absolutely.
Don't make any huge changes immediately, just start doing lots of smaller things slowly, like parking far away in the parking lot, or making a pledge to walk 15 extra minutes a day for a week. Don't immediately crash diet and don't beat yourself up when you "make a mistake" or cheat on your diet or don't go to the gym in the morning. These things take time and effort and commitment.
Try to find a weight loss group to support you and motivate you during this time, I know Yahoo groups has tons of them. The best way to lose weight is to have a great support system behind you. Size 15 is just the beginning!

If you try to get a size 15, and under 200 lbs, Id get off the computer and start running laps.

SIZE DOESNT MATTER. honestly if you look good, feel good, then you aren't a whale. stop focusing on the size of those pants. ive been a size 15 and ik how it is. your really tall and so you are going to have a bigger size and a heavey weight. stop focusing on numbers. i threw away all of my scales in my house and when i shop for pants i look for something that looks like it would fit. i dont go by size and i find myself not obsessing over little things like a size 15 and weighing 233lbs.

Well no one can tell you that you need to go down to a size blah blah blah or anything. You need to decide that on your own. If you think that you need to lose weight then stop drinking sodas and sugar.. and go to the gym everyday for an hour or so... if you do that then the weight will come off! To me it doesn't matter what size you are its whats inside that matters!

size 12 would be average.. just keep up with your gym sessions.. and what u're eating. first time i went to the gym i could barely run for 5minutes.. and i try to beat that everytime i go in.. ill be doin 6 mins.. then 8 mins.. now im doin 30mins non stop.. so just try and beat it aye....

the best thing is NOT HAVE A TARGET if you say 'i want to be this' then you feel sad if you fail EXCERSIZE EXCERSIZE EXCERSIZE and untill YOU are happy with how YOU look :D
