I don't have much experience. Cashier for 3 months 4 years ago and worked as a receptionist for 3 years. Would I start out at the bottom, or get more because work experience (even though not cashier)?

Do you guys have a Whole Foods in florida? Well here in Massachusetts, they start everyone at 10.00, experienced or not, regardless of position. Its the highest starting pay job for retail stores, and possibly the only one, but that could be just in my state. But of course, landing a job there is like finding two pennies in a shoe. Worth a try, and besides, they will consider your previous work experience.

May depend on the store.
Heck, where I live McDonald's will start a person. No experience, for $7.
I not sure what you looking for, but, my brother's wife worked for Hobby Lobby and made pretty good start money and worked up to Assistant Manager fairly quick. She only went to work, because the children were all grown and she was bored sitting around the house. She said she really enjoyed working there. She had to quit, because his work moved them and there was no store. Just a thought.
