what kind?

i want a small dog... something very furry but very small. i'm talking microscopic lol well maybe that's a slight exageration... but anyway... what kind should i get?

Go to your local library and get a book on breed choices. They will have a small "test" to see which dog fits the best with your personality, living situation, and time available for care. Some small dogs actually take more time for their care than a large dog, and some breeds are known to be destructive or have goofy quirks that will have you at wits end in a month. Don't get any dog just to have it put down or go to the pound, there is a dog for every person who has an affinity for them.

how do you feel about Yorkshire terriers, aka Yorkies? I have 2, they are a riot and when its down time, the best lap dogs you could ask for. my female is three pounds yet she has the heart of a lion and thinks she's in charge. My male is 6 pounds(thats still small) and he is a big baby. Here is a link to some cute pics of yorkies.

toy poodle, yorkie, pomeranian, but also check into the health problems of all these breeds when getting the "runt" that breeders try to sell as teacups.
They often have severe sugar drops causing seizures, and water on teh brain so if you get the so called micro pet plan on spending plenty on vet bills.

pomeranians are very furry and small. papillons are less furry but about the same size. long-haired chihuahuas are quite adorable. schipperkes are small and fairly fluffy as well.

search for small dogs in your area (you can even specify breeds) on petfinder.com - save a puppies life! Best decision I ever made...
