Make sure to have a comfortable sleeping place for her set up, and keep her close to the litter/food/water. Also if you are afraid that she might try to jump/climb on things you may want to put her in a smaller room until she is feeling better. I hope your kitty gets better soon.

Are you force-feeding her because the vet told you to, or just because you think she won't eat? The antibiotics usually make them a bit nauseous, so unless the vet told you to, just let her eat what she wants. A little cooked turkey, skinless chicken, or canned tuna in water might do the trick. Keep her comfortable, warm, and give her lots of attention. Just be carteful of letting her on the furniture with out a towel or something so the drainage does not stain you stuff! (I find using a worn t shirt of mine that smells like me can be vary comforting to my cat.) She will feel better in a day or two when the drain comes out.

Keep an eye on her. I wonder what the drain is?? Just give her lots of love, attention, hugs, kisses, and something to keep her busy with. Perhaps the two of you can play with a toy that doesn't require running around much.
Feed her at her usual mealtimes. If she doesn't want to eat, it's normal, since she feels uncomfortable with those stitches, and that she feels pain.
I hope the Dr has prescribed a medication to help ease her.

What I do when my cat is feeling blue after a visit to the vet is feed her some warmed canned food and brush her with a soft brush. Generally just giving her caring attention. I also let her sleep on my lap while I'm at the computer. Just making her feel loved makes her feel much better.

You might want to try giving her some valerian. It will help calm her down. So will diphenhydramine (Benadryl), but ONLY give small doses (5mg or less) and do NOT administer diphenhydramine/acetominophen combinations. The diphenhydramine will act as a sedative/hypnotic on the feline, so might help her if she seems to be feeling uncomfortable.

Just remember she needs water as well as food. The collar could prevent her from getting enough water.
Holding and stroking is all fine, but she needs adequate nutrition so she can heal!
