As a Jew I was born to believe that God lied and that I could be good enough to get to heaven without a blood atonement to forgive my sins.
Moses said "Without the innocent shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins." "The life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it upon the altar to make atonement for your sins." Leviticus 17:11
where is your forgiveness of sins?? can you be better than Jesus and earn your salvation. If you die and only told one lie-can you forgive your own lie-can your religion-Jesus says no=
"Except you repent, and be born again you can not see the kingdom of heaven." John 3
the words of Jesus from heaven Revelation 1:1&3:19&20 "I love you and ask you to repent quickly, Behold I stand at your heart door and knock, if you hear my word and ask me in, I will come in forgive your sins and be your friend."

because y0u have not experienced Jesus-that doesnt make him and his salvation not real.
If you never saw an airplane or a picture of one-and you meet someone that says they have flown on an airplane-your claiming that airplanes dont exist-is a losing arguement to someone that has experienced knowing Jesus-or flying on an airplane.

are you self righteous trying to earn a salvation never commiting one sin, or do you have the righteousness of Jesus through his salvation?

the point is we can say anything we want-Jesus says He is the only way of salvation-will we believe him? It has worked for me and millions of others to know Jesus personally as Savior, Messiah and best friend.
What are you trusting for your salvation-your ability to never sin-or Jesus salvation offered freely when we repent and ask him in as he asks-quoted above.

David I don't really reject Jesus. Just don't believe in Him the way Christians do. To me a lot of that was fabricated years after He was around. Your first Bible passage was the famous one from the Gospel of John. If you go back and read your gospel, you'll see that this John didn't believe in "hell". He believed in "eternal life" and "death". The Gospel of John makes no mention of hell fire or eternal life in a fire pit. By the way, most scholars say that they seriously doubt the Gospel of John, and John I and II, and then Revelations, are the same individual. Also, the apostle John really didn't pen that gospel. Have they taught you that at Sunday school, yet? Your trying to make the whole Bible some kind of comprehensive coherent text. Ain't the case.

Unless you want to meet his dad you don't need him. God the father of Jesus is only one of thousands of God concepts. You have freewill and can choose your own path.

Sin is a man made concept that is ridiculous and requires no special trick. I need no salvation from the punishment of any god, thanks for asking.

There is nothing from which I need to be "saved". Jesus is not your "righteousness", he is the excuse for your self-righteousness. There's a difference.
