What happens to our consciousness after death is a mystery, and will remain so until you get there yourself. All this "heaven" stuff was cooked-up by men, who wanted to express what they hoped and perceived an afterlife to be. The biblical accounts of what heaven is supposed to be like, to me, is ridiculous. The authors of those texts failed to realize that a soul/spirit would have no need for material things. And can you imagine a perpetual state of listening to harps and floating around in clouds? I would go crazy.

To tell you the truth, I think we are well past the christian heaven, which was in the future in the First Century. Our communications systems are like lightening that flashes in the East, and is seen in the West. Its like the American Pie dream that people are still striving for, when they are already, as a nation, far beyond it, and going down the other side of the hill.

What a wonderful question. I love answering the questions from people that are sweet, pure, and innocent. This is wonderful. No one can know for sure. That is the problem with the faith that anyone chooses. That is what faith is based on. All you can do, my lovely child, is to study and choose what you feel is best suited to you by way of faith, traditions, history and beliefs. I'm sorry I couldn't give you a better answer, but thank you for asking.

According to the bible you probably aren't. Revelations 7:4 says that only 144,000 Jews will be going to heaven (that number is only about one in a hundred living Jews); everyone else is going to hell.

7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

Yes, you can. The one way to be assured of Heaven is through the Lordship of Jesus Christ in your life. He said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. None may come to the Father but through Me." When we admit that we cannot make it on our own, that we are sinners in need of salvation and we surrender to Him and make Him Lord and Savior of our life, we know that we will live in Heaven for all eternity.
