It is a Science Fiction Novel, but the Fact is that we have Global Warming whether or not WE are causing it.

If the warming on Mars and Earth were related it would have to be due to changes in the sun, as it's the only connecting thread between the two. But if it were the sun, we should be observing climate changes on all the planets in the solar system, not just one or two.
