Because whenever I look at my face in the bathroom of my school, my skin looks nasty. The walls inside are pink and I think the lights are flourescent. But if I'm at home and then look at my skin, it looks fine.

Sadly everyone looks worst under those fluorescent lamps at school. Some dressing rooms have them, and I look my worst in them. When you look at yourself and think about how bad you look, just know that is not how you are being seen or even how to look. Those lights pick out every flaw possible. Everyone always looks best soft lighting at home and outdoors.

Yes there are different types of lighting that changes the shade of your face.

When I need to look at the real color of my face or if I want to test a hair color, a shade of makeup or clothing, I always try to take it outside in the real light to check for accuracy.
