Take her to a vet soon - not the first one you went too. You can talk to them about payments at that time.

I am so sorry to hear that. That means tragic news for the both of you. "Sigh" The bleeding is the sign that her eardrums have ruptured and she will probably be deaf now. The absolute best thing you can do is use the link below to order the med from the vetamerica website and have it overnight shipped. I researched about my dog's lack of hearing and ran across symptoms of where irreversible damage has occured and those include bleeding from the ears and head tilting. Do your best to keep her as compfotable as possible. You can do this by keeping her ears clean by wiping out the blood or using a bulb to suck it out gently. Other than the medication there isnt much more you can do other than contacting your local Humane Society if you have one. In many places they offer free or low cost care to sick animals and work with you as far as a payment arrangement if they deem you need to pay for the services.
Lots of luck and prayers to you.
Andrea

Keep up your spirits.
Bleeding may just be from the scratching.
But it must be driving the poor creature mad, so see a vet immediately.
It sounds like mites but it could be bacterial or fungicidal infection.
Damn the expense. The animal is in torture.
Let the vet treat the animal first, then tell him you are broke, and of course he will allow installments. How else will he get paid?
Put kindness/humanity before ethics any day!
That's what Mother Teresa did.

Ear mites. They sell medicine in the pet stores. Also, has anyone ever told you that ibuprofen can be toxic to cats?

Just call around your area, explain your situation and hopefully you can find a vet to work with you on a payment plan. Your cat definitely needs to see a Vet!!!

You can't give cats ibuprofen--it isn't safe! You're going to have to go to an emergency hospital on the weekend, as most vets are closed. Most won't offer payments. Maybe a friend or relative can pay for you, and you can pay them back.
