You can't compare different eras, they were both great champions in their own time.

While Joe will go down as an all time great..(and he deserves to) Tyson will be always known as a could have been....That being said, Joe faced one opponent who had the power of a Mike Tyson, and that was A young George Foreman..And that was a disaster for Joe. He was knocked down SIX times by Foreman...Lost By K.O. Foreman was about as powerful as Tyson, but nowhere near as fast...And Tyson has a CHIN people...he took a BEATING from Lewis before bowing out...I don't like Mike, but he gets Joe in 4 rounds...He wouldn't touch Ali though....

I love Frazier and hate Tyson, but I think it would be a bad fight for Joe. Tyson's trouble comes from big tall boxers with good movement and a good punch. I don't see Frazier making it past the 4th round, but if he did - he would beat Tyson. I would much rather see Big George deal with Tyson's monkey *ss. Foreman knocks Tyson smooth out no later than the 2nd round!

If Buster Douglas could KO Mike, and a guy named Kevin McBride can make Mike quit on his stool Joe Frazier would have KOed Mike faster than Holyfield did, and Mike would have looked like he went 30 rounds with Lewis when Joe was done.
Mike only dominated people who feared him, and Joe Frazier didn't know the meaning of fear. Joe would have exposed Mike with in four rounds, and ended it within 6.

Joe Frazier would beat Tyson after about 8 rounds. mike tyson found it difficult to beat people unless he knocked them out with in four rounds. Frazier too cleaver to be caught early on and when tyson tired he would knock him out.

Joe Fraizer if he can get over the onslaught of the first 3 to 5 rounds with Tyson.Tyson if he cannot knock you out in the start of the fight he gets frustrated and makes mistakes.Watch Holyfield and Lewis wins over Tyson, they didnt mix it with him and Tyson was like a lamb to the slaughter.
But Joe when he gets a belter to the chin he is on his bum,but always gets up and never gives up and gives it his all.
Also it depends on the night, everybody has a bad day.

tyson without a doubt what u must realise is michael gerard tyson was the most brutal boxer of all time he was unstoppable in his prime and if he had of stayed on track an not been dragged into the bad side of the sport he would of been the greatest boxer of all time no questions asked , but i do seriously believe that mike tyson at 21 was unstoppable there werent a fighter through past or present that could of stopped him END OF

tyson would be unable to take out frazier early and lose by ko in the 10th tyson never had endurance and couldnt beat any one who put up a fight.
and their is no way frazier would be intimidated by tyson which is what cost alot of fighters against him.
