Why does my dog get so jealous? My dog has three legs. And we have two pets. We've had our cats longer then my three legged dog - though she is full of joy and just wants to make her babies happy. Everytime I call for my cat, my dog runs towards me before the cat, so she doesnt get there first. She gets way jealous. Why is this?

She runs to you because she loves you, and she wants to be loved back. She doesn't want the cat to get more attention than she does.

well you a probably not giving as much attention to the dog and you are paying more attention to the cat and he feel left out
