ok so my sister and i are planning on everyone coming over to my house tomorrow and we're making Kabobs on the grill. (honey chickn kabobs and shrimp n steak kabobs.) just wondering what kind of side dish would go best with something like that..?

Sounds yum! Wish I was there. Now, are you just going to kabob the meat, or are you going to put some vegetables on them too? (bell peppers, onions, etc...) That will be really good. For a side I was thinking more along the lines of maybe baked potatos, one for everyone. Have a whole baked potatoe salad bar somewhere in the kitchen. I will go great with the kabobs! Good luck. I like to serve fluffy buttered rice and garlic bread with Kabobs. Some corn on the cob would be good too. I LOOOOVE kabobs!!

My default side dishes are curried basmati rice (really easy), and a green salad with feta and balsamic dressing. I think those would go well with kabobs!
