Surprisingly yes we do, in fact we have one every year for as far back as I can remember, but I have been told that the 4th July was around even before there was a USA. Enjoy your holiday ;-)

To answer your question, yes they do have a fourth of July, we all do, you know. Do they have a day of independence celebration? No, they have always been independent. I love the Brits.

Umm, who were we fighting in that war, I mean the Revolutionary War that started July 4, 1776?
They were wearing red coats, I remember that much.
And why would they celebrate being defeated? That's an American tradition.
