I keep trying to put any kind of CD in my Intel computer hardrive, any kind of cd it dosent show up saying it has recognized it and if i go to my computer and click it manually it throws the CD back out... Any help plz?

Sounds like the CD ROM has died, plain and simple, buy and install a new one .

You might have to install a 3rd party burning software such as Nero. Or just click the "help" and type something cd to hard drive copy issues click on the category that best matches your complaint. It will help u troubleshoot your complaint as best as possible but no guarantee.

Actually, I had this problem before... as other people have mentioned it could be a bad drive, but in my case it was malicious software trying to take over my computer. In my case I had to format the computer and start from scratch.

You should get a new CD ROM. You can get a new one at http://www.dell.com/content/products/category.aspx/storage?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd&redirect=1 .

You need a new drive, that happened to me and I bought a new drive, no more headache
