any amount of exercise will help you lose or regulate your weight, but it must be combined with a calories consious meal plan... excercising burns a certain amount of cals, and if you don't eat those cals back, you end up with more cals burned than consumed (adding in your basal cal count) and you lose weight.

i'd recommend calories watching on: http://www.fitday.com/

Yup, it'll help a lot.

Like the others have said, you'll need to watch your calories too. I'd recommend a good calorie counter... sparkpeople.com has a nice one. You type in your age/height/weight etc and it'll make a custom calorie plan for you.. you then enter EVERYTHING you eat every day and you'll get any idea of how many calories you are eating vs how many you should be eating.

It's all free too :)

By counting my calories and doing some moderate exercise (mainly walking) I've lost 50lbs since the first of this year! :)

You'll have a lot of benefits from walking and yes, will help you lose weight if you keep your caloric intake the same as before and dont reduce your other activities. If you're thinking you might want to, DO IT. You'll enjoy results no matter what.

i walk about that every day . and it keeps the weight down. and you wont HATE exercising because there is no pain really. but it wont be like taking huge chunks of weight out just by walking some other cardio would help to. good luck losing weight.

Definitely! I walked every night after dinner, and lost 17 lbs. Of course a sensible diet goes along with exercise for the best results. Good luck:)

absolutley but only for a little while , your body will hit a peak and will not e able to loose anymore weight, i reccomend walking a mile first and then working your way up to 2 miles slowly.
