Do you wear contacts? If so, you should take them out, change the solution you're using and not put them back in until your eye clears up. If you DON'T wear contacts, you might have contracted pink-eye. You CAN ask the pharmacist what to use, but you should also see a doctor just in case.

Is it sore at all? Like is it your whole eye or a blood vessel? If it's most of the eye and irritated I understand 'cause I look through a camera constantly and here is what my doc told me to do and it works.
At any drug store buy some boric acid, it's a dry powder, like 3 bucks for a huge container. In water as hot as you can tolerate on your eye, dilute 2 teaspoons of the acid and soak it into a clean wash rag. Compress that to your eye a few times. It will feel good and do it every now and then and you should see some improvement.

Looks like an eye infection. Better see an eye doctor and get some drops and antibiotics prescribed, unless you have access to a good homeopath.

hey i work for an ophthalmologist sounds like you have a subconjuntival hemorrhage which is a broken blood vessel-very common but looks really bad and it will probably look worse before getting better. as long as your bision didnt change you will be ok this happens if you sneeze too hard, cough too hard, strain on the commode, any kind of forceful thing there is no med that will cure it heals on its own it just looks bad.

You need an appointment with your doctor for prescription medicine. It is called pink eye and will not go away without prescription eyedrops.
