Do..... YOU... think that YOU.... are a Real Christian?

DID JESUS SAY...... Some..... Many.... OR..... "FEW? ? ?

(Matthew 7:20-to-23)
Therefore by their FRUITS
you shall know them.

(Matt 7:21) Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord!
shall enter the kingdom of Heaven,
but he who does the will
of My Father in Heaven.

(Matt 7:22) Many will say to Me
in that day, Lord! Lord!
Did we not prophesy in Your name,
and through Your name throw out demons,
and through Your name do many wonderful works?

(Matt 7:23) And then I [JESUS]
will say to them
I never knew you!
Depart from Me,
those working LAWLESSNESS!

DID JESUS SAY...... Some..... Many.... OR..... "FEW? ? ?

Thanks, RR

He said...narrow is the way, that leads to life and few there be that find it......

Broad is the way that leads to destruction..

We must be sober about our lives and strive to live holy.
Quick to repent and Quick to forgive. Servants of the Lord.

I am not Christian but I am in peace with my beliefs and it is so important that we seek the truth.

I don't know what exactly you mean from being a real Christian but the most important thing is this that we always should seek the truth and if we find it we should obey it now in any case.

Even if we are not real believer we should try to be.

I know I believe Jesus Christ died for my sins. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my savior. I understand that no good deed or any act of righteousness can justify me in the eyes of God. I believe that the blood of Jesus Christ has cleansed me of my sins. I have given my life totally to Jesus Christ. I am still a sinner but I am a sinner under the saving Grace of Jesus Christ washed in the blood of the Lamb.

Does that make me a real Christian?

I strive & pursue whatz right in HIS eyes. Each time HE shows me - that there's always something that I still YET to learn.
As I continue to put on Jesus everyday whereby I begin to decrease and HE increases - - then I begin to carry with the me fruits of HIS living spirit - - HIS love, HIS joy, HIS peace, HIS patience, HIS kindness, HIS goodness, HIS faithfulness.
Then HE will know me as HIS REAL FOLLOWER as I obey and follow HIM - - a non-judgmental Jesus who looks at everyone with compassionate eyes willing to sacrifice a little for HIS Kingdom.
And as long as I'm alive and able to strive for this goal, I believe HE sees the desires of my heart AND KNOW I am for REAL!

yes i am a christian.because its base on what christ did for me.all i have to do is believe on the lord and i shall be saved.not because i'm good (no one is good)but because i'm forgiven.people think if i'm just good enough, give enough, love enough,etc... this is a lie because it all falls under works.thats what makes christians different from all other religions in the world.christianity says your never good enough to make it to heaven on your own.other religions say you have to work your way there.

If you understand that following Christ means to submit to His will, to allow Him to work though you, then you follow Christ. Some believe it is their role to save sinners. The truth is that we save no one. Only Christ saves. Christ can only work though us if we live in submission to His will.

Christ taught us how to change our own lives. When we do that, He is able to work through us.

Sadly, many would rather twist this around and think that Christ was teaching us to change others. Wrong! Only Christ saves.

The reason the number is few is because it is always easier to tell other people how to change their lives than to change our own. But to follow Christ it is essential that you focus on the change in yourself.

So this question becomes very basic: Do you focus on telling others how they should change, or do you ask Christ to show you which areas of your own life need change?

Remember that our fruits can only grow and mature if they are being nourished by Christ. He is the vine.

I used to be a "real" Christian but have fallen away in going to church, etc... I moved to another city away from my church and haven't tried to find another church yet. I feel bad about it and need to get back into my regular worship and interacting with fellow believers before I get too far away from my faith and can't get back!
