There are essentially 4 basic Face Shapes: Round, Square, Diamond (or triangle), Pear (or inverted pear) or Oval.

Oval shapes were hitherto considered the perfect shape to achieve (eg. Elizabeth Taylor) but if you look at most of the models now their faces are more square because square shapes and strong jawlines photograph the best from every angle.

To create a balancing hairstyle you will have to create an illusion: A round hairstyle for a square face, angular hairstyle for a round face, top height for a pear shaped face, and width for an oval face.

Lots can be done to balance the face to create 3 equal parts the forehead, the mid section and the jaw. Bangs can cover long or wide foreheads, height can be created for small faces, hair can be used to cover sharp angles and so on...

We are all taught this basic in Beauty School but you will need to find a really good stylist who puts this into practice and plays with your hair to determine its type and asks intelligent 'your lifestyle' questions before they start to cut and style it.

My website: www.beautysecretz.com will be launched in 2-3 weeks and we will be adding new free software where you can superimpose your picture to determine the style and hair color that is good for you.

But in the meantime search through style magazines and place your picture next to the ones you like. Then take it to a good stylist.

when it is half wet.......

put in a ponytail and seperate ponytail into three sections

then twist each section individually

then twist the three sections together into a bun

(pin your bangs up in the middle)

put a flower pin flush with one side of the bun for a fancy look. leave plain for more casual look.

if ur bangsb are long enough you could layer your hair (so it flips out) ur hair just past ur sholders make sure it fits ur face untill it flips (this will make ur cheeks less notice able). cut ur bangs till below ur cheeks and part them on the side (it will take down ur forhade

Putting it in a bun may help, You can cut it shoulder length, thats what i'm doing with mine. putting it in two ponytails with braids can help. You can use a virtual hair stylist thing too.
