Yes, it looks nice. What most important to me are;
MegaPixel; The more pixels the clearer the picture should you want to make an 8x10 maybe larger Hard Copy.
Memory; The more memory the more pictures you can take. Around the house it not a big deal as you can download every day. But, on a vacation, you can take plenty of picture without a need to Download until you get home.
ISO; This is how a camera responds to light. Old 35 mm Cameras look at the film pack, it may be ISO 100 or ISO 400. The higher the ISO the better pictures be at night. ISO 100 is great for picture during the day, outside. But, ISO 1000 be nice for Stars and night stuff. There is a balance here, 100 may be best for fast moving objects where-as 1000 could blur slightly. It give up one for the other type thing. You will learn the best settings for the type pictures you take.

Yes, This is a really good one. Sony and Canon make the best digital cameras. The only thing I don't like about the sony is the type of memory they use. They use a memory stick which is a little more expensive and less common than the SD card that most cameras use. Besides that, you'll be pretty happy with this one. I have a Sony and it's fast, reliable, and takes great pictures. Mines not pink though. :) Here's a site that reviewed this model and they liked it. Go and buy it!

ahhhh,its o.k.,Canon and Nikon make better dig.cams.....they handle low light better than the sonys
