I think putting an end to abortion would a great start. Following education to teens, and ultimate support to rape victims as well as the family.
If a ilegal abortion happens, then the person needs to go to prison for murder! As well as the person that performed the abortion.
Everything comes down to education and instilling morals on everyone~sometimes people just need to be reminded that what they do isn't always the best thing to do all the time.

I think both should be done. We need to reach out, which I have done, to help those women who have unplanned pregnancies. One way, is to change the word, unwanted to unplanned. A child can be not planned at that moment in the women's life, but when we say unwanted that says something about the worth of the baby she is carrying. Roe V. Wade should be overruled as well. I know I will get the comment- "it is the women's body and it is her choice, and what about rape". First of all it is the baby that gets aborted not the mother- and secondly rape is only about 3% of the reasons that women get abortions. the majority is just because "they don't want a baby". I am adopted and I can honestly say, that I am very glad my birth mom chose life for me, even when it meant carrying me for 9 months and then placing me in the arms of another family. Also I have 2 teenagers who we adopted as infants and their birth moms chose life too. So I am very much a pro-lifer here.

The effort should be to eliminate as much "unwanted" pregnancy as possible. Rather than provide a culture that encourages the act that causes this, it should be discouraged as much as possible. Providing a easy way out only encourages it all the more. A little shame goes a long way. We discipline our kids for bad behavior. Unwanted pregnancies are taking bad behavior to the limit. A little bit of understanding is OK as long as the behavior isn't excused. We are not animals and behavior can be controlled.
Wanted pregnancies should be the goal.

Efforts ARE focused on helping people with unwanted pregnancies. There are crisis pregnancy centers all over the country. Women turn to these centers for help with whatever they need. They offer non-judgmental post-abortion counseling, too.
A lot of people accuse pro-lifers of not being sincere unless they adopt. But in reality, the waiting list to adopt a newborn baby is more than five years.

Both should be pursued. Assisting individuals with unwanted pregnancy should be done short term while the fight to outlaw abortion is still being fought. And then it should be continued AFTER abortion is outlawed (if it ever becomes so).

The fetus resides with the aid of organic and organic definition. It has cells, engages in nutrient replace, etc., yet all in the mummy's physique and that's thoroughly based on the mummy. whilst being pregnant is terminated, the fetus is killed, so sure, there is an end to existence. even with the undeniable fact that, the question will become, "Is it a human existence?" and likewise "Did the mummy consent to being pregnant with the aid of having consensual intercourse?" those are the questions that divide people who're for and people who're against abortion.

Thats not the number 1 priority but maybe it should be. Abortion, to many people, is the slaughter of the innocent. Life begins at conception, not at birth. Fetuses are not growing tissue masses but human life created by God.

A woman's body should NOT be subject to any political or religious exploitation, and this includes anything IN her body.
I'd like people who believe that "abortion is murder" to look at the two women who recently gave birth to litters of 6 kids each. Two of those babies have already died, because they were delivered too early -- at 22 weeks gestation, babies are NOT capable of existing outside their mother's bodies, because at 22 weeks, they're still FETUSES.

YES. They are prepared to force someone to have a child but not prepared to make sure they can feed and clothe it. Especially in USA where the social security is practically non-existent
