Why,if god hates gay people did he make Michaelangelo (who was 'gay') one of the greatest painters and sculptors of all time and allow televangelist Jimmy Swaggart to be caught with a New Orleans prostitude in a sleazy motel?

1.) God doesn't have gay people - he hates the sin that they commit.
2.) There are plenty of great gay artists, teachers, lawyers doctors, etc. He gives everyone gifts.
3.) Jimmy Swaggart,...... ok, he screwed up. You know if he asked for forgiveness, he was forgiven. God then dropped it, why can't you?

God doesn't "hate" anyone. He loves everyone. He may not like what the person does but He does NOT hate the person. God gives us all talents it's up to us to use it for His glory. I don't know why Michaelangelo was gay and was blessed so well I do know the word says homosexuality is an abomination to God. As far as Jimmy Swaggart he was caught because the word also says all things done in darkness (secret) will come to light. In otherwords if your trying to hide something one way or another it's going to come out in the open for all to see. Besides when your claiming to do a work for God you have to be above board. Look how many followers he had and how much of a bigshot he was and look how God brought him down to humility so he could repent.

God doesn't hate anyone. He hates " sin. The devil says,
" he who bows down and worships me, I will give him the kingdoms of this world." Satan blesses as well, but in the end he will devour you with all the contempt he has for every man, believer or non-believer. If you, as Jimmy Swaggart, is going to be put in a position to lead a people in godliness, but mock their Lord by blatant sin, you will face the consequences. We all will face the consequences. The Apostle Paul tells us that teachers, and those in leading positions are held greatly accountable for that position.

I read that the artist Michaelangelo was sexually abused as a boy by the man who was then the Pope, sorry I don't have references, perhaps someone else can confirm this.
(1503 – 1513) That Pope Julius II did sexually assault and sodomize Michelangelo as a child prior to his growth into a great artist and his commissions concerning the Vatican
Homophobes could choose to remain verbally continent if they so chose to give up the sin of homophobic gay baiting, it's just a sinful choice on their part because they derive enjoyment from it.

God doesn't gay people, he s the sin. God loves everyone and s no one. Homophobic people and gay bashers like to use the bible against us, however many of those people have never even read the bible. They pay attention to the verses in which they want to put they seem to forget that homosexuality is not mentioned in the ten comandments, but loving thy neighbor is. Good day my fam!

God does not hate anyone (according to the Bible) he hates the sin they commit. Not just homosexuality but any sin; dishonesty, stealing, adultery, swearing, etc.
If you don't like the answer don't ask the question. When you ask a question with God in it you are going to get answers from both believers and nonbelievers. If you are against believers than why ask questions about God?

Didn`t Jesus instruct us to hate the sin but love the sinner, a sin is what it is and cannot be excused but people can change and Homosexuals have the choice of celebacy if they choose to.
