In addition to above answers you should look at gunbroker.com if you can find 1 exactly like yours that will give you an idea at least. You could also put them up for bid when you have a price in mind and set a reserve slightly below that.

An M-1 Carbine can run anywhere from $200 to $5000 depending upon make, model and condition.

The cheapest have mixed parts from several makers. The barrel may be made by one company and the receiver by another. It may have been re-blued by someone along the way. If it still has a clean barrel and is not pitted, it can be sold for $200 as a plinker.

The most expensive are un-refinished "tanker" or "paratrooper" models in pristine condition.

Most are somewhere between. If you want maximum dollar for your guns, get a book on the M1 Carbine and start reading about the details. The more you know about them, the more likely you will get a decent price. If you go to a gun show and go to a table where a collector specializes in the M1 carbine, he may be able to help you. But be warned, if he makes you an offer it is LESS than what the gun is really worth. If he makes an offer and you turn him down and he makes another fast offer before you walk away, he really wants the gun and it is probably quite valuable.

There are a lot of ways. You could take them to a number of sporting goods stores and see what they would pay you for them, or the better method would to look around and see what others are selling them for. Look at the condition of yours and theirs. This should give you a pretty close guess at what they are worth.

Go to GUNSAMERICA and see what similar models are selling for. You can list yours for sale there for a very minimal commission to be paid when they sell.
