He's for real but unfortunately his ego seems to be his dominant trait right now. He banters all these scientific "facts" which are gross exaggerations of the the science community says is real and teach out poor kids to accept his stuff as gospel and not opinion and they never present the other side. We have a bunch of middle school kids believing they will never reach child bearing age because the school system shoves his BS down their throats. It's actually kind of sad that his lies become fact to them. In the mean time, he has companies making money from the scare as he lives in his house that uses 9 times the power of ours and he refuses to answer questions about reducing the use.

Well, it's possible that Mr. Gore has some financial interests in Toyota or some other companies doing something about efficiency in industry. But it's for real, unfortunately. He's probably just the first prominent American politician to open their eyes and take a hard look around - from an environmental perspective - in about 100 years.

But barring smart investing, there is no comparing the industrial lobby "FOR" cleaning up the environment or dealing with global warming at the moment to the industrial bloc "AGAINST" with big oil and big guns behind the "FOR" lobby , alot of people will be fooled for a long time, probably longer than we have.

The closest thing to advocacy would be the various nervious scientists in various weather, climate and math departments across the world, and those companies that are producing things we will need, high-efficiency batteries, solar panels, wind generators etc.

He is the real deal. He's just a little hard to take for some people. He's made a few faux pax in the past and used to be rather wooden in delivering speeches. The past few years he seems to have lightened up and he's now communicating more effectively. Trouble is, not everyone's listening. You don't have to agree with everything, but there's no harm done in listening to what the man has to say with an open mind.

Gore is the modern Pied Piper, who has promised us he can lead all of the polluting oil companies out of town but is really after the minds of the children, so many of which post on Yahoo Answers.

Al Gore rocks. Disbelieve as you wish, to the peril of your children and grandchildren.

Be careful I think he is pushing global warming as he wants to raise the tax on fossil fuel and I know who will pay for it. Gore is afraid u will use up all the jet fuel so he is trying to restrict it just for the rich. But you can walk with a lot of us.I am sorry but WE should all sink or swim together.
