Bringing an artiest boyfriend home would not bother him as much as the atheist boyfriend. He would immediately feel guilty about not telling his daughter that she should not be linked to unbelievers. However, he could be worried about starving artists also. It is not easy being a Christian father.

I think that most practicing Artiests are Christians,however.

Pray for guidance in this situation as a concerned father. God says in the Bible to not be unevenly yoked, and this is a good example of that. With you being a christian, try to be that good example of a christian by not approaching this matter in a harsh way. I know this may be hard since you are worried about your daughter, but pray that God will protect her and open her eyes that this relationship will not work if he remains atheist and that God may open his eyes to believing in him.
