Each religion prays to their own God, muslims Allah, Christians Jesus and so on. I decided to do an experiment with prayer.
My friend who is Christian prayed to Jesus, the boyfriend of my friend prayed to Allah and I prayed to my puppy. ALL the prayers have been answered to the same rate 50% 50%, no matter who you were praying to. This is not just my experiment , other scientific experiments have been done with the same results. How can you then say when some of your prayers were answered it was YOUR GOD that answered your prayer ? I prayed to my puppy and some prayers were answered just like those addressed to jesus or allah so is my dog another God then?

Your puppy is a dog right?
and D O G spelled backwards is . . .
You better ask your puppy's forgiveness for testing him, otherwise he will smite your carpet and slippers.

What did you pray for? The sun to come up? Seriously, I understand your skepticism about such things. There is really so much to be skeptical about. On the other hand, a mature believer in god will pray to abide by the will of god cuz being a believer s/he would trust the overarching vision and understanding of such a being as compared to her/his own more limited perspective. Once a believer feels or senses -- it's a completely irrational process from a materialists perspective, I know -- what action to take, she acts and that action becomes the vehicle through which she sees the rightness or wrongness of her action -- if she's paying attention. Prayer is a process. It's not an event that is said, done, then over. You've probably heard this before, right? There is no objective validity for such an experience that someone outside of the person experiencing such a thing could see or measure although it's very real to the person experiencing it. It's like any kind of love: a process. It's an irrational subjective experience, but for the lover it's realer than real.

Christians should be praying to YHVH The Father in the Name of Jesus. Jesus gave us the example in His Word on how to pray. You end prayer in the name of Jesus verifying that you believe that Jesus is the Son of YHVH God The Father The One TRUE God. Allah is the false moon god. YHVH God our Father listens to all prayers, but just as a good father would act on a request a child ask of him, YHVH God The Father is not going to give you something that may in the long run harm you or is out of His will.

Im probably the only Muslim who will attempt to answer this question.
All prayers, that are accepted are accepted by God.
There is only One Creator. Thus the Creator answers all prayers.
But the answering of a prayer is not a measure by which a believer should believe in God. If they do so, it is because theyre ignorant.
Belief in God is akin to paying homage to that power which has created you. Whether youre aware of it, whether your prayers are accepted, or not, the power, is still there.
Ooops, I take back what I said about being the only muslim lol ^^

If you pray to Allah All Mighty it is the best way to pray that will solve your problem and at the same time it would benefit you as of worshipping the ultimate God as well.
You can get money by honest earnings or by stealing or by fraud. But you should know what is the method that will help you in the long run specially in the eternal life of hereafter. Somethings look very attractive in first look but in the long run, not good for us.
If a little baby wants to play with a knife or a sharp blade, the one who love that baby will not allow him to play with it. But if that baby asks to one of his enemy, may be he will give him a knife to play.
Allah All Mighty is our Creator HE knows what is good for us and what at what time is wrong for us.
If we pray He answers if that is good and suitable to us, if not HE replace its reward in the shape of some thing else good for us.

the only explanation people in religion have for their beliefs is:
BLIND FAITH
and can NOT provide ANY proof of their religious beliefs !
Your dog is as much a god as any religion's god...
Here's the Solution for religion:
Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save Your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs and start Your journey back home, to Heaven.
<<<<<<< UnConditional Love is the only answer >>>>>>>
Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.
Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

I think you are missing the point of religion. God doesnt have a prayer "batting average", but prayer is our way of communicating with God.

Not praying works just the same. Here is the biggest study where they prayed for healing: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/03/31/health/31pray.html?ex=1301461200&en=4acf338be4900000&ei=5088&partner=rssnyt&emc=rss

Your small study shows exactly what a larger study shows; that prayer is ineffective.
