I keep having dreams that my husband is cheating on me. I have always been scared that he will. He swears he doesn't believe in cheating and I have been suspicious of it here lately. I wondered about t before the dreams started. Now I am having them about once a week. What does this dream mean?

To dream that your mate, spouse, or significant other is cheating on you, indicates your fears of being abandoned. You may feel a lack of attention in the relationship. Alternatively, you may feel that you are not measuring up to the expectations of others. This notion may stem from issues of trust or self-esteem. The dream could also indicate that you are unconsciously picking up hints and cues that your significant other is not being completely truth or is not fully committed in the relationship

It's really simple... the dream means you are VERY WORRIED and fearful that he's having an affair.

It doesn't mean he's having one... just that you are suspicious and worried...

Scenarios:
He might be having an affair or affairs and maybe you've picked up on subliminal hints of this.

He might NOT be having an affair and you're just a very jealous person.

He might not be having an affair, but decide to have one if he's constantly going to be accused of having one.

He might not be having an affair and your fears and dreams are killing your sex life and your marital relationship.

You can NOT have a good relationship where there is no trust. Your dreams tell me there is no trust on your side. If you have no proof or suspicious circumstances that could be indicative of an affair, then putting all this effort into worrying about one will only harm your marriage.

I suggest you go to a psychologist for marital counseling... by yourself. If the counselor wants your husband in, a request will be made for him to attend some of the meetings.

Your husband may be sensing you have a secret you're not telling him or maybe you cheating is a fear of his, whether rational or not. A lot of dreams don't really have any meaning, but a reaccuring one could (and it may not actually mean he thinks you're cheating). You are probably having the dream because he keeps telling you about it and you're trying to figure out what it means. Talk to your hubby and make sure there's nothing on his mind, he's not worried about anything and feels secure in your marriage. If the dream doesn't go away, encourage him to talk to a counselor about what it could mean.

Dreams are usually representations of feelings rather than actual circumstances. According to frued sex represents love and this is why we sometimes dream about sex with parents or siblings. I would say to look at how the dream makes you feel and then find out where else in your life your experiencing those feelings. It could be that you've spent so much time being paranoid about this that it's coming out in your dreams.

From experience I'll tell you that if you shake a tree long enough sooner or later something is going to fall out of it. What I mean by that is if you've harrassed your man long enough you will chase him into someone elses arms. Back off.

No one is exempt from feelings of insecurity. This dream obviously reflects what your suspicions on in real life. But such dreams may indicate a broader range of insecurities, of which your marriage is a part not the whole.

The hard thing you may wish to work on is gain more respect for yourself -- who you are, what your strengths are, what you have accomplished, the positive impact you have had on other people's lives.

Many -- maybe most -- people have trouble maintaining respect for those who don't have plenty of self-respect themselves. The more confident you appear to your husband, the less likely he will stray.

Don't talk to him about your suspicions. Instead, educate him on who you are and how lucky he is to have you -- in a subtle way of course.

My book says we dream in opposites - that is, like when we dream we are poor, then the prediction is we will be rich.

Your lack of faith in your husband does you no credit, unless you have a strong psychic sense about him. If not, leave the poor guy alone. You may put ideas into his head so he feels, if he's going to be accused of faithlessness, he might as well enjoy it.

Basicall you feel insecure and you need to talk to him. Maybe not about the dream but about your feelings and maybe ask how he feels (in general). Perhaps having more quality time together will help. You need to be honest with yourselves and each other and that insecurity should go away (in time),

trust your gut unless you have a case of the how can he be faithful to me which I think you already know you do and need to learn why you feel this way and see what can be done to stop this feeling be it feeling better about your self or being more self assure in the relationship or your suspicions will ruin your relationship. and just what you dread will happen.

Hire a detective and see where it ends... if so he is faithful then dreams give you the opposite meaning and if he is a cheater then dreams are your forte
