My puppy is 6months old, Ive become obsessed with him.
My wife died recently and i thought he would fill the gap and lonely nights, so ive been letting him sleep in my bed, im ashamed to say when he sniffs certain areas i find myself aroused. i haven't acted on these feelings but dont know how long i can ignore my cocker spainiel. what should i do?

If you really love the dog, you will not take advantage of him. It is just really wrong. The dog can not say no, so you are only enjoying the satisfaction of doing something naughty and taboo. The dog should not be allowed to sniff you in those places to that extent. You have issues that need to be addressed in your life. You should probly seek grief councelling and buy a blow up doll.

I agree with willodrgn, Lilly, Gail H, and Angel Eyes. This is totally wrong and very sick. Please give this puppy to someone who will not try to take advantage of an animal.

Also as previously mentioned go find your girlfriend or buy a blow up doll.

Urgh!

You have officially gone off the deep end. Its a friggin puppy for god's sake! Your sick. Getting aroused by a dog? as in a CANINE??? You are aware that that can be considered as a form of bestiality, right? My advice: seek professional help-PRONTO.

Its not unusual to be overly friendly with a puppy, they give us love that we dont normaly get when we are alone. If i were you i would start by taking puppy off the bed. let him sleep on the floor. Try to distance yourself from him a little.
there's no harm in a cuddle but nothing more.
thats just wrong.

OK here's what you have to do-give the puppy to someone nice who deserves a loving pet. Then go and check yourself into the nearest psychiatric hospital.

Being sexually attracted to you pet is sick and wrong.

Well, in your last question, you tell us that you have a girlfriend so, my advice to you is to give her a call and leave the dog out of things.
