be the change you wish to see in others
sweep your own porch first
love your neighbor as yourself
treat others as they should be treated
do not do that which you consider harmful to self
respect other's life and culture as you cherish your own
the kingdome of god is within you...not without, be wary of those who will tell you to look for a sign
be still and know that you are alive and worth love

I would rather be a door keeper at the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
It is in Psalms somewhere, written by King David.

"Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord", bringing about the expression what goes around comes around, hence, when someone does something not nice to you "turn the other cheek" as one day God will repay them, and it seems to be fairly true if you really think hard about it. Whenever we do something nasty, we are usually repaid at least tenfold, well it seems tenfold

We talk about heaven being so far away. It is within speaking distance to those who belong there.

Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it.
Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held.
Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books.
Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin.
Believe nothing just because someone else believes it.
Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true
Nothing in life is to be feared, It is only to be understood.
