I have met many "spiritual" people who were not what one would call religious so yes I believe it is possible. To be religious without spiritual however is to be legalistic only.

Christians are like Amway salesmen: they consider the world an open market, and think that everyone around them are potential customers.
Just ignore them. It's the only way to have a rewarding experience here. When watching television, you change the channel if you're watching something that doesn't appeal to you, right? So just skip over the conversion attempts (which will ALWAYS be there) and ignorance. Sooner or later, you'll build up a good contact list with those you agree with, and you'll wind up with a pretty rewarding experience.
Oh... and unless you turn off your email (prohibit access from other users via your profile), you'll occasionally get conversion emails from them. I think of them as junk mail. If you happen to be atheist, you'll probably also recieve rambling bible qoutes and threats on a regular basis. You can report them, or you can do as I do and simply delete them. Look at it this way: You never wanted friendship with these people to begin with! But you can, on the flip side, also recieve some pretty cool emails from people who liked an answer you gave, or want to elaborate more on the answers they gave you. It's like the Facts of Life theme song: "You take the good, you take the bad, you take 'em both..." Now that I've got that sickening theme song stuck in your head, I bid you a good day!

This is a place where people should be free to ask questions and get answers. As a Christian I answer based on what I believe (the Bible) but I am here to ask questions of my faith and to help answer questions that others may be asking and that I have an idea on.
YA should not be a place where people feel bullied or threatened but unfortunately there are many people in here (Christians, Atheists and others) who view YA as a place to vent their frustrations and not be constructive towards the other people using this service.
I urge you to ignore the negativity that people put into posts and simply look at the answers/ opinions that lay under the quips. Try to look for what people are really saying and look for the people who answer your questions validly.
Good luck in all your questions.

i do not know what fireball226 is but the way i see it yes you can be spiritual with out being in to be religion. and many i know are religious and they have not hooked up with there spiritual self. to get both is a wonderful gift you give yourself. you have to find the way to make it happen.. asking questions and answering them reading what others say and feel gives you inside to how to do it.
i do not believe that the only people that can ask or answer question are the one that are them self the origin of the group. what make this place so great is that you can come here and ask thing that you can not ask any were else because no one knows you. you can also answer even if you are a jerk about it somethings.. or know nothing at all about what you are talking about. to find your self and understand yourself you have to ask question and mouth off about stuff you don't know to and read about what other feel to find the deeper you. i love the way every one can come and talk about any ting and answer just because you need the points..
what i want to know is what the hell is fireball226 and what your problem about other have fun asking and answer question.??

Fireball does not read the questions at all, or more likely she does not understand them. She merely types out a quick platitude about her own deluded religious beliefs and moves on as quickly as possible to the next question.
Although I am not spiritual, there are many atheists who are, and they have every right to be here, as does EVERYONE.

It certainly doesn't say "Christianity". If they want their own board, they can easily make one, and many already exist as well. Also, you don't have to be a practitioner of a certain thing to post there. For example, people who have never bought an MP3 player ask people who love theirs what to look for, people who can't cook post in Food and Drink for tips, people who aren't cops ask questions in Law Enforcement, etc. You only have to be curious *about* the subject at hand.

Lol I totally agree with you.. she sets herself up as some sort of y/a monitor when she's just a point-gamer trying to get to the top with one liners and "this is religion here". Most of the time when she makes that statement, it's obvious that the question was just too deep for her understanding, spiritually. I'm sick of it, personally.

Universal Truth eliminated religion from Spirituality...
Yahoo should remove religion from the Spirituality section because religion has nothing to do with Spirituality !
Here's the Solution for religion:
Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save Your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs and start Your journey back home, to Heaven.
<<<<<<< UnConditional Love is the only answer >>>>>>>
Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.
Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

What I have YET to figure out are those who HATE the door knockers who come here and open their doors and then complain.
Yet no one has addressed the NON-RELIGIOUS issues that miff EVERYONE. TELEMARKETERS and SPAMMERS.
I get 200 SPAMS per day at my mail book that I have to weed through to see the 1 real e-mail I get.
NON of those spammers are religious, MOST are PHARMACIES.
SCIENCE is the annoying one in the world BARGING IN ON YOUR LIFE with Viagra for $5
