HI i just got windows vista and want to install it any1 who has got it plz help me in installing it?

i havent installed any operating system before so please tell me is it any different than istalling the norma softwares like wmp11...........

Read the documentation it came with. then BOOT the PC using the CD/DVD and follow the onscreen prompts.

first back up all your data, then take a moment to think if you really want vista, now you need to do a clean install or upgrad install, clean is much better, it wipes your hard drive (all the data is gone so do a back up) and an upgrad does not, it can leave a bunch of junk behind, so thats why i do clean install only.

vista is really easy to install!
