that sounds very familuar. oh thats right i am in the same position as you. except i am a boy of 16 who has liked a girl for two years. i used to talk to this girl but i was scared when she was paying attention to me. so i placed myself in a cocoon as a way of signalling to stop. now i wish i had not because this girl i cannot stop thinking about her. every so often the girl does things that make me wonder if she still likes me but because we have not talked properly for the past year, i am scared that i have read the wrong signals and i fear of being rejected. so what i am trying to say is that we are in the same boat. isn't that weird that we are in the same position. maybe you are the girl that i like and maybe i am the guy that you are talking about. only joking.

Well i wouldn't just come out and tell him you love him straight away, that might scare him a little.
However what you should do is just ask him out for a coffee or a drink. That way you guys can go out and get to know each other better, and then you can see where it goes from there. Just take it slow though cause you want to keep this guy not make him run.
The one thing not to do is leave it any longer because like you said 2 years is a long time to have feelings for someone and not to act on them so do something now before its too late.
Good luck babe xxx

Be there for him in the way only a best friend can be. Right now, he's hurt. When he's gotten over the other girl, maybe he'll look back on that time he was in pain and see you, being there beside him, helping him through it. I hope he realises on his own what an amazing person he has, he just doesn't quite know it yet.

Think about it this way!!!

You only live once... cease the day!!! No point having regrets in life!!!

If i think or feel something I always tell people I mean they cant do anything if they dont know!!

You will feel soo much better once its out trust me and it doesnt matter what he says coz either way its out of your head and in his now!! And at least you know if it can go anywhere or if you need to forget about it and move on!

Dont worry too much take each day as it comes and live for the moment taking all opportunities that come you way!!!

Good luck

oh... dont just come out with I LOVE YOU!!
just tell him you have liked him a long time etc etc! cant just come out with I LOVE YOU...!!!

Just tell him I'm in love with you. If he freaks out it might be a sign that he loves you also. Of course it depends on what your definition of freaking out is. If he is a honest decent human being he will tell you how he feels. As long as he keeps it real then that's all you can ask. Please try not to freak out if the feelings are not mutual. You might lose a good friend if you do.

You need to tell him so that he will know. But it seems that after two years he hasn't told you that he loves you. Don't you dare freak out. Just ask the question to him. Do you love me. If he don't answer the question then you know he hasn't got there yet in love. Love yourself first, then move on .

You need to find out if he is otherwise attached before you go too far down this line. If he is attached leave well alone. If not, why not ask him out and take it from there? That's what I did and it is all working out now.

Honestly, you cant. Just hope he takes it well. But take it from me, make sure he likes you too or it'll only cause you pain and A LOT of embarrassment
