You cannot change the WinXp logo to the Logo you want, but you can install Vista-look-alike skins that help you to change xp's logo to Vista's.But it recommend you don't fiddle with the system to such an extent so as to change..

There are more interesting tasks, other than changing the log on and shut down. windows.
When you log on you have to give a name and password,
and when you shut down you get messages of the shut down process.
Better leave them alone, unless you are a computer savvy person. ( and have the original XP home or Pro CD )

Personally, I use TuneUp Utilities to change my XP Boot screen and Welcome screen. But this program is not free....Been doing this for years and it's completely safe via this program...
If you want you can just download the TuneUp Styler 2...this is the part of the program that does this...

messing with the code in xp is very dangerous and can easily turn your computer into a expensive paperweight if you dont now what you are doing

1.Click start , find setting and click in to control panel.
2.Click in to user account
3.Click your account then click change my picture
4.then click the picture u want and click change picture.
