Different insurance companies are different. The best bet is to call your insurance company and ask. For our insurance company takes about 4-6 weeks to process a claim!

What do you mean? How long does a claim take to be paid? Generally, about six weeks, BUT some unions can take up to six months.

If you mean how long does it take for your insurance to be active after you sign the paperwork - usually at the start of the next month. Meaning, if you buy it today, you're usually effective July 1st. BUT that's not a hard and fast rule - you'll need to check with your employer or broker.

1. If you are refering to "Reimbursement Type" it will takes 3-4 weeks to get your money back.

2. If you are using "cashless admission" type, you will gain admission once you obtain permission from your insurer.

3. Please check with your agent on whether your existing plan requires you to pay certain amount before the insurance kicks in.
