I, and all the atheists I know, would believe in a god or gods if we saw evidence that one or more existed. Give us good evidence and we will have no choice but to believe.

"Holy" books are not evidence -- every religion has at least one. Subjective experiences are not evidence -- believers of all religions have them. "Look around you" isn't evidence -- anyone can use the same argument to "prove" their belief. Evidence must show that god(s) actually exist(s), and which god(s), in particular.

Even if the existence of god(s) could be proved, it/they might not be the one(s) you believe in. If you saw irrefutable evidence for god(s) different from what you believe in, would you change your religion?

I chose to remain as I was born, without the need of gods. Socks ware out like most of the gods have but do much more for people than gods ever have. Friends come and go much like the gods but true friends who actually exist can last a live time.

I change my mind regularly, it just stays atheist. Something to do with evidence.

why don't you stop posting stupid questions like this one? or you think of yourself as some great missionary that will change the world? if people don't share your opinions, that may be because they are SMARTER than you
