He went downstairs and rang his brother back, dunno whether it was that girl or his bro on the phone. anyway he said goodbye that he'd be back soon. I cudnt go bk asleep cas i kept worring wat he's doing. Rang him twice no answer. Eventually he came bk home at 6.30 so he was gone nearly 2 hrs. I wudnt tlk to him. he got up then at half 8 and i cud hear him in the shower. I confronted him and he said the girl i heard was tlkn in d bkround ;not to him an he doesnt know who she was. He said the only reason he went was cas he cudnt sleep anyway. Aggh its head wrecking........this has never happened before and i never got any other indication that he has cheated.

Listen to your gut feeling. It does sound a bit suspicious. If you're not sure, then act like you believe him and everything is fine, then start watching his actions. Is is showering more? Buying you gifts (a sign of guilt). Taking more time over his appearance? Being cagey about where he's been or giving overly detailed descriptions of stuff you don't really need to know? I caught out a cheater when he left me an overly detailed answerphone message about why he couldn't ring me that night. He included masses of irrelevant information to try and make his story more convincing. You could also get someone you trust to follow him and see where he goes.

I believe when you're in a relationship, you don't keep secrets from your partner. The fact that he went somewhere in the house to carry his conversation would concern me. There is a good possibility he's cheating on you. He owes you an explanation for his behavior. If you don't put a stop to this now, this will plague your relationship forever. Personally, I feel that no one has the right to play with your emotions in this fashion, so get rid of him fast. I'm pretty sure your find someone who will take you seriously. Good Luck!

Sorry but what person leaves in the middle of the night & then stays gone for 2 hours, doesn't answer your calls & doesn't even state where he is going @ that time & also...cell phones don't pick up background noises so clear to the point where it sounds like that person is the one doing the talking. He seems suspect...

The surest way to push him away is to worry about him cheating. If you don't trust him, dump him; if you trust him, give him enough rope to hang himself. Make sure he knows that you have zero tolerance for cheating, and that if you catch him cheating, it's over, period. If he's the right guy for you, he won't mess up. If he's a cheater, he won't stop just because you're watching and he will ultimately mess up and get caught. So, it's up to you, but you'll enjoy your relationship more if you learn to trust him until he betrays you, then dump him like a hot rock. Otherwise, you'll just worry yourself into a self-fulfilling situation.

Brother might have been partying and it sounded like fun. I personally would let it go unless it continues. If he seems to be spending lots of time at his brothers and your unwelcome, then probably a good concern. But if you can drop by at anytime, and you don't get an uncomfortable feeling, or happens to be a strange woman hanging around, then don't worry.

why he did not invite you to come along?
you cannot be sure...but take care...be very cautious. Try to invent some obligations or parties and do not invite him to come with you. You will see whether he'll start worrying.
Maybe my idea is not the best one...but do not force him to give you an answer...that way you'll just push him into the hands of the other girl, if she exists at all.

It sounds odd to me. Who's brother is going to call up at 4:15 am telling him to come to his party. Clue number one, your boyfriend did not ask you to come along with him to the party. Clue number two, you heard a female's voice on the other end of the line. Clue number three, your boyfriend went downstairs to call back. Do I need to go on? Go with your gut feeling on this one, he is cheating on you! I am sure you do not want to be cheated on anymore. Put him out and find yourself a real man!

Could be a lot of things. Is he selling anything they might need at 4am? Maybe they had something he needed? Either way no man just gets up at 4am and leaves, even if it is another girl, if he's cheating he wouldn't be waking at 4am for another girl. If he's cheating you'll see more and more evidence. One good way to know for sure.....if his sex drive for you starts to disappear..thats a sure sign...otherwise maybe he's just getting high
