That is not a factory option. You have an aftermarket anti-theft device which can be removed by a competent stereo shop.

the reason your car does this is because someone installed add on keyless entry system that incorperates a vehicle security system, find someone who is good at installing alarm systems and they should be able to tell you how to get around this feature. your car was most likely a program vehicle that was a rental car new, most of these were ordered by hertz without keyless entry for some rediculas reason so many of the dealers and customers (including us) installed ford aftermarket keyless entry systems that had this feature built into the system for security.
