No, it sounds like a typical large puppy. Just watch his stools carefully, to make certain that he 'goes' when he should. If he has problems 'going' or stops eating, get him checked. Be careful to keep things picked up that are not safe, as he will taste anything and everything.

He could have had an upset stomach. Dogs tend to eat grass when they have upset stomaches. As for the twigs, it's probably just like you said about the teething puppy chewing on anything and everything. He's going to find something to chew on while he's outside, and what's better than a nice twig?

Dogs can get stomach aces to. Maybe your dog is eating to much, to fast or it's just because the food that you give him does not go good with his stomach. I think you find twigs and grass in his vomit because when dogs have stomach aces they eat grass and other things to vomit and relieve their stomach ace. Try changing his food. If he still keeps vomiting after that take him to a vet just to be safe. But puppy's also usually eat grass and other things when there little so i think he will grow out of it so it might also be something harmless.

Many of the Giant breeds have delicate tummies especially when they are puppies. The probable cause of the vomit is his grass eating (which is nothing to do with teeething) so watch him carefull when your out. As long as there is no blood in the vomit I wouldn't worry too much right now.

It's not serious. It's a puppy thing. He'll grow out of it. My dog was doing it too and I did some googling on it and found it was very common and nothing to worry about. Have fun with your puppy!

stop feeding him for about a day and see what happens. sometimes, it is really because they're teething or just playful that they eat such stuff. try to supervise him a bit more. do not allow him to eat and chew everything. keep some things out of his reach
