Try both names on your kitten, just to see how she responds. When you hit the right name, you will know she likes it. Just be careful NOT to pick a name with a sibilant "Sssssss" sound, like Suzy, or Sissy, or the like. Cats are born with an instinctive knowledge that Sssssss or Hisssss means NO! in cat language. I knew a woman who named her male cat Simon. She just couldn't understand why whenever she called him Simon he ran upstairs and hid in the back of the closet. He thought she was mad at him every time she called him. We changed his name to Bob, and he became a loving, good kitty right away who always came when we called him. Save the Hissss and Sissss sounds to teach your kitty to STOP when she is doing something she shouldn't be doing. Have fun naming your new kitty.

Maybe you could combine the two, minimadge/magimin. Have you got an idea for a name, you could put them in a hat, and name the kitten whatever one is drawn out. Had real difficulty in naming my cats, all of us wanted different names. Although most people agree that Dave (yes I called one of my cats Dave!) was a good name for a mog... x

I name my cats after pasta, so I have Miss Penne, Minx (who was adopted and I couldn't change her name) and Baby Spaghetti who's only three weeks old (she's Minx's daughter) so really I can only suggest you chose a food or type of pasta and name her after that, that way you get a unique name and look like a weirdo when you call her in the street, hence why people round me refer to me as the crazy cat lady!

maximum quite everyone has good enter. do not do away with the older one from her domicile!! She's in simple terms organising who's precise cat. assume some hisses, growls, and swats- well-known habit. the two have the kitten in yet another room once you're long gone or in a huge provider so as that they might get used to a minimum of one yet another's fragrance with out being fairly head to head unsupervised. once you're domicile, supply some extra interest to the elder one. she will agonize which you're changing her on your affections. i would not attempt giving them bowls of nutrition precise next to a minimum of one yet another till elder is displaying extra tolerance. in case you feed unfastened selection, dry nutrition then that is not plenty an argument. you are able to verbally reprimand elder if she is stalking and selecting on the infant- yet no actual punishment. i might have the elder take a seat w me as we watched the newcomer play w a toy. Tended to make my elder one decide for to connect in particularly of %. a fuss. My gray woman is familiar with the order to 'Be a woman'and could back off what she is doing while informed that command. i might wager with the aid of the top of next week they might have the commencing up of a documents. do not supply up, tip elder's nails so those swats won't wreck the exterior. there is an additive you are able to upload to the water bowl maximum puppy shops have. that is talked approximately as something like 'Rescue treatment,or Bach's treatment'... alot of rescue and foster residences use it to help eease the cat's tension stages dealing w new cats and new atmosphere.

You could call her "Number 8".

Although my second choice would be Magic.

8 is a lucky number and it could be quite magic too!
