Homemade Sour Cream

Method:
Place all ingredients in a blender, and combine on medium-high speed until smooth and creamy.

Sorry, this is not an answer, but thank you for asking! I've been wanting to know that myself because I am moving to another country and cannot find it there... and I am addicted!
I will add in case you didn't know that buttermilk is the part of the milk left after butter has been made out of the cream. Now, how is yogurt made???

sour cream is used as a substitute for what is called creme fraiche....to make creme fraiche....mix together 1 cup of heavy cream and 2 tablespoons of buttermilk.....then cover it and let it sit at room temperature for about 24 hours.....you can also add flavorings to your creme fraiche is you like
