It's possible you've fractured your tailbone (coccyx). Do you do any horseback riding? Or are you riding a tractor, ATV, or other item that may cause jarring of your bottom? My son recently fractured his tailbone and was in a lot of pain when he sat. The dr. told him to stay off bikes, ATVs etc. for a few weeks.

It's also possible that you have somehow just bruised your coccyx. Even with a fracture, there's nothing medically they can do for it, short of surgery for a major break in that location. Rest, sit on pillows, and stay away from anything that can jar your tailbone.

Well if I was you I’ll go see a chiropractor – now I must warn you that some are in it for the money – so you will have to look for a good one – ask a friend or a relative – you should be able to tell by the amount of time they spend looking and working on you – when you do find one you will need to see them more often at first because the adjustment is not normal to the body – after a few good adjustments and your body come accustom you will not have to go so often
