Im 20 yrs old and Live in Las Vegas. im intrested in becomeing a midwife yet am having troubles finding schools to get more information. i dont know the yrs and requirements i will need. if anyone could help preferably a midwife in my area i would be greatful. thank you!

Contact Kaye Bullock in Las Vegas. She's my midwife, and is awesome. I am sure she will answer any questions. She is really busy, so call on Mondays.

I'm not a midwife but I have looked in to it in the past myself. A midwife starts off with getting a degree in Nursing either from a 2 year college (these are your community colleges) or a 4 year college (bigger university). Then after they get their Nursing degree they then go on to a school for midwifery and that training can take about another two years or so.
