I'd imagine it is 16. It is not actually illegal to employ 14 or 15 year olds in shops, as long as it complies with the law in relation to duties and working hours, but you don't often find national chains employing school-aged children.
I have known NEXT to recruit under 18s in at least one location.

i reckon its 18 - i am addicted to this shop..and i dont recall seeing anybody that is very, very young...like 16. why dont you ring them & ask??
