I'm sure he would be pleased if you quit.
From the sounds of things, I'm guessin' you won't be there long anyways.

Go into work tomorrow wearing a Hawaiian shirt and cutoff shorts with flip-flops and sunglasses. Carry a tom collins glass with an umbrella in one hand and a lawn chair in the other.

After he fires your *** you can sit in the lawn chair outside of the job site and drink from the tom collins glass.

Or, you could ask him how you can better perform.

Sounds like he is correct. I think he may be trying to send you a message that you need to grow up and take your job more seriously. Let me give you another hint, you do not play back on your supervisor. Go to work, keep to yourself, and do your job. Grow the hell up!!!!

So, because a supervisor is saying something in a positive way, or maybe a way to make you laugh, you want to "pay him back".. well best way is to quit. that will show him....

Personally, he has every right to his opinion of the company as you do. he just has more right to say it.

Take much interest in your work and work hard. There is no substitute for the hard work. By doing this, you can prove that your supervisor is wrong

Work harder, efficiently, be productive.

Be the best damn employee you can be, and be the best employee there. Then the next time he says that to you, tell HIS supervisor what he said, show him the great work you have been doing, and tell him that you don't feel apreciated. Then sit back, and watch what happens....

The best way to get back at him is to grow up and prove him wrong.
