The thing is it has a LOT of miles on it, being a Taxi. Personally, I would not buy it for too much more, especially it being on eBay and not being able to test drive it. I think you might have been better off selling it in your home town, especially to a teenager or something. You might get up to $1000 on it but I really don't see more than that bc of mileage and insecurity of eBay.

Blue Book Private Party Value
Private Party Value is what a buyer can expect to pay when buying a used car from a private party. The Private Party Value assumes the vehicle is sold "As Is" and carries no warranty (other than the continuing factory warranty). The final sale price may vary depending on the vehicle's actual condition and local market conditions. This value may also be used to derive Fair Market Value for insurance and vehicle donation purposes.
Vehicle Condition Ratings Check Vehicle Title History Excellent
$4,775

"Excellent" condition means that the vehicle looks new, is in excellent mechanical condition and needs no reconditioning. This vehicle has never had any paint or body work and is free of rust. The vehicle has a clean title history and will pass a smog and safety inspection. The engine compartment is clean, with no fluid leaks and is free of any wear or visible defects. The vehicle also has complete and verifiable service records. Less than 5% of all used vehicles fall into this category.
Good
$4,250

"Good" condition means that the vehicle is free of any major defects. This vehicle has a clean title history, the paint, body and interior have only minor (if any) blemishes, and there are no major mechanical problems. There should be little or no rust on this vehicle. The tires match and have substantial tread wear left. A "good" vehicle will need some reconditioning to be sold at retail. Most consumer owned vehicles fall into this category.
Fair
$3,600

"Fair" condition means that the vehicle has some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition. This vehicle has a clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional. The tires may need to be replaced. There may be some repairable rust damage.
Poor
N/A

"Poor" condition means that the vehicle has severe mechanical and/or cosmetic defects and is in poor running condition. The vehicle may have problems that cannot be readily fixed such as a damaged frame or a rusted-through body. A vehicle with a branded title (salvage, flood, etc.) or unsubstantiated mileage is considered "poor." A vehicle in poor condition may require an independent appraisal to determine its value. Kelley Blue Book does not attempt to report a value on a "poor" vehicle because the value of cars in this category varies greatly.

Well the outside of the car doesnt look to bad the interior is screwed but if nobody out bids you I'm sure you can sell it in a big city close to you. The motor does have alot of miles for a domestic car but with most taxi companys the take very good care of there vehicles so it probably going to sell for around a thousand but hope that your buddies in Hollywood need a stunt car that looks like a taxi or maybe a crown vic cop car but im not sure if i had money i'd probably buy it and part it out, its a good parts car the fenders interchange for i think like 6 years.

Me personally, yeah. The Engine is worth that alone. I'd rebuild it and swap out my Mustang's V6 for the nice 4.6 V8. A car like that to drive, for me, would be a no. It's not in awful shape, I mean it looks a little hit up, but the engine though, you could rebuild it. I'm assuming you want to buy to drive, though. I know Ebay, and the bidding don't get crazy until the final day. People want the item free and clear without guessing whether they have something or not...Ya know? Good luck with it though!

Its certainly possible. You might want to check kelly blue book for their suggested price to get an idea. If its a problem you Should be able to go through ebay and have the bid removed as long as you have a good explaination and there is time left. You might have to pay some stupid fee though.
Good luck

Good luck,I wouldn't give more than $100 for this car..it used to be a taxi, high miles...ugly color...do you realize you also pay money to have this car brought to you if you live in another state that it was listed?not worth it...good luck again.

you never know, but on the up side, taxis are usually well maintained, it is not uncommon for a crown vic to excede 300,000 miles with few problems, at least it would be a cheap beater to get around in.

I can't answer for anyone else but I know that I wouldn't pay more than $100 for that car, and only if I was desperate for a vehicle.

$700 sounds quite low, I'd guess it'd sell for a few thousand, at least. You could always get lucky though. :) G'luck!

Definitly, although the mileage is pretty high. Best of luck to you though.
