find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise is the only fat burning exercise -you cant spot reduce body fat (running, swimming, jogging, cycling, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I personally have lost 15 pounds and 21 inches in all the right places for a woman! I feel fantastic and I will always recommend that people follow my lead on what I have done! I found a program that helps one lose weight but at the same time you are not hungry, which is the #1 reason that diets fail! You will be getting all the nutrition that your body needs so you won't be depriving it of anything and it will help your body to realize that the excess fat it has will need to be dscarded! I don't work out right now. I just don't have the time! Working out would definitely help and increase your results but it is not a must with this program! My body is "running" more efficiently and it is getting rid of all of the excess that it has in order for it to be healthy! You will feel better than you have ever felt and that I can atest to! Weight training will help to build muscle, the more muscle you build the more efficiently you will burn fat. Don't forget how important diet is too.
