i've been depressed for a long time. monday was horrible. but then the next day i felt like a completely different person - i was happy, full of myself, wanting to hurt others (emotionally) and talkative. the only time i feel like talking is when i think i'm better than everyone else. i don't get in that mood often. i guess it's worn out since i'm feeling suicidal right now. oh and i can't get help cause i don't think my parents deserve to know somethings wrong with me.

Depression happens to most everyone, First it is disappointment, Then you get discouragement, then despair.
Disappointment most people can handle.
You are feeling despair. As if there is no help for you, however there is. I really would like for you to add me and you can pm me if you want. I am a Christan Counselor. I know how you feel as far as talking to your parents. I am 45 now but when I was 15yrs old, I could not go to my parents for anything.
In fact I had no body to go to. I did know there would come a day I would be out of this situation and one day would have a better life that I could build.
I don't know your age but I want you to know I care and if you want to contact me you are more than welcome. Death is not the answer. Even if you do not want your parents to know how you feel tell them even if you have to write it down on paper. Leave them a letter letting them know or if that doesn't work for you go to a school counselor, or a friend.
Try to dance, it is hard to be sad when you dance.
Your friend always,
Chhaya

There are other places where you can get help. You could start with a teacher you trust dearly and if you dont have one you can try talking to your priest. Your parents would be heartbroken if something were to happen to you--no parent in there right mind would want for their child to harm themselves. Suicide is the easy way out. Stay in the game and fight. I understand life can be unfair, but you must find that inner strength not to give up. Good Luck!

Sounds exactly like bipolar disorder. You need to get professional help...please tell your parents. If not, tell your school psychologist/counselor, or if you are out for the summer tell any adult you trust what is happening. There is help for this...you can feel normal again. Please just tell an adult that you think you need help. You can even just go to the emergency room on your own if you want, at a local hospital. They can hook you up with the resources you need. Feel free to message me about this as well.

talk with someone. i know it sounds stpuid to think that talking with someone would "lift a weight off your shoulders", but i found out that it really does relieve some weight.

next....sadly, really, the only real thing you can do is just wait for it to pass. I hate saying that it's just hormones, since it's the emotion that's important, but it is hormones. you just need to wait for it to pass. You'll find ways to get yourself lost, and numb, but the emotion and pain will come back. Just be strong and get through. I"m trying to do that now, and i'm being lost by helping people through yahoo answers.
I hope i live to see you live

you might have bipolar disorder. You should let your parent know because you need help and support in managing your mental health. Tell them your feelings so you don't hurt yourself. They will never forgive themselves if they lose you
