Sure a person can adopt any race they want too. Just think how diverse her family will be , the kids will grow up to be more accepting to differences, right from the start.

She'll have to do a separate application and homestudy for each one, a very time-consuming process, and if she specifies that she only wants a girl of a specific race, that will certainly add to the time she'll have to wait. But if she's willing to go through all that, of course you can adopt as many children as you want, and of any race you want. Once she gets going on this, she may find she'd rather adopt a child with a great need for a family, of any race or sex, rather than try to assemble a multicolored set. I hope it works out for everyone.

She can adopt whatever race child she wants. My neighbor has a girl who is Asian, a boy who is African American, and another boy who is Caucasian. As long as she can provide a loving, nurturing, and stable home it doesn't matter.

I hope your friend is more mature than you are.

"get a black one" ????
"a Asian kid" ????

And, "What is the whole adoption procedure?" Do your own research, or better yet, tell her to!!! If she can't do that, she certainly can't be a parent.

Children are not fads, toys, commodities, tokens, status symbols, trinkets, or trophies.

I have a feeling that adoption is not even an option for your friend anyway. One has to QUALIFY to adopt. (Thank God.)

I don't think it matters what race you adopt, but how well you can care and provide for them. I personally feel that you should stick with adopting your own race or just stick with one. But I have to give her credit for wanting the kids no one wants.

Does she want to be a parent or a collector? Be open to whatever race, certainly...it shouldn't matter either way...but to be so specific seems odd.

I'm sure the adoption agency will be delighted to have someone adopt three at a time. Good for her.

she needs to think about the kids needs, not hers. Children aren't accessories!
