No dream is exactly the same, just the details. Every time, I am in the front passenger seat. The driver loses control, and the car/van/truck slides recklessly (turning the steering wheel furiously clockwise and counter-clockwise), usually through a "woodsy area" and at night. I'm always the passenger. Sometimes I have time to put on my seat belt, but EVERY time the vehicle flips through the air violently, and EVERY time I have just enough time to pray for forgiveness while the vehicle is rolling. I always pray to "Dear Lord". At the moment of impact I wake up with my heart feeling like I drank five red bulls. What the hell? I'm not religious, but in these dreams I know I'm about to die violently and close my eyes and pray. Sometimes there's blood and noise, but always the swerving and praying. I always wake up at the moment of impact. Somebody out there please help me. It's becoming quite annoying.

Basically, you are being driven (figuratively and literally ) to destruction. At the hands of others, you will suffer because you are always the passenger. You say you are not a religious person but in your dream you pray. To obviate any more of these dreams, I suggest you pray and ask forgiveness before you sleep and sleep without any acci..I mean incident.

Sounds to me like a crisis of faith. Maybe you should look more closely at your religious beliefs. Or, you are just looking for someone who can help and support you.

Dreams about car accidents are all about not having control over some aspect of your life. The fact that you are the passenger makes it worse, because it is someone else who is causing you to lose control of your life. Maybe the praying bit is your subconscious' way of telling you that regardless of what is going wrong in your life and who is causing it, there is someone to turn to. That someone doesn't have to be God, but you might manifest it as god because you are not sure whom to turn to.

This is my thought. A car is usually a symbol for your life. The fact that someone else is driving and you're the passenger says you're not the one in control of the direction your life is going right now. It sounds like whoever is in 'control' is 'wrecking your life' or turning it upside down. And at least part of you is looking for spiritual guidance to turn this around. Does any of that ring true for you?

This is a dream about being out of control.
1) You are a passenger. Someone else is driving, making decisions. You are a victim to their bad decisions, subject to their whims. Ask yourself: who is driving?
2) Car is out of control. The "thing" you are "in" is represented by the car. And this "thing" is out of your control because you are notdriving and because it already has inertia.

My initial guess is that this dream is about an interpersonal relationship where someone else is making the decisions and you follow along. The relationship its self is represented by the car out of control.

This dream could also be about other aspects of your life that you do not feel you can control or manage, such as a job, drug use, bulimia or anything else that you may not be doing in moderation.

To dream of a car accident, symbolizes your emotional state. You may be harboring deep anxieties and fears. Are you "driving" yourself too hard? This dream may tell you to slow down before you hit disaster. You need to rethink or re-plan your course of actions and set yourself on a better path.

Subconsciously you want to remind yourself to be careful while driving.

Projecting Lord in your dream shows sign of guilty feeling. It may be due to sympathy of others. However, car accident dream occurs because you are in lack of sense of security and that is why you are trying to seek for support and security.

In your case, faith is the only thing you can think of in your subconscious mind.

I don't know you, but this sounds like fear of death. You have been trying to know God (through prayer), but it sounds like you are not strong in your faith. Maybe you are not sure of where you will go when you die? God wants us to be sure (Hebrews 10:22, Hebrews 6:11).

Maybe you need to do more than pray. You could try seeking God in different ways, such as Bible study, church attendance, or pastoral counsel. The dreams go on and on because something has not been solved in your walk with God.

The nightmares are probably a pain, but it could be God trying to get your attention, to give you a better life. I hope someday, you can brag that you know Him and the things are good between you and God.

You should try to figure out who it is that is in the "driver's seat", this is a dream pun for who this situation is really stemming from. You have a situation with whoever the driver is, that you feel is spinning out of control, and out of your control to do anything about it. Since you know the situation is out of your ability to do anything about it, you have tried to hand it on to a "higher authority"....

i dont really know the specific meanings on all the details of your dream, but i do know that being the passenger in the car (not the driver) means that you are not in control of your life. something or somebody is in 'the driver's seat' of your life right now.
